Kick It Into Touch!
The Foundation and NHS Stop Smoking Service continue to "Kick it into Touch"
Foundation Director Neil Kelly went back to his roots last night. He returned to his tracksuit and coached his old amateur team Woolston Rovers. As part of his coaching assessment, he was able to promote health benefits of playing sport and highlight the Kick it into Touch campaign. If you sign up to the campaign to help you go smokefree the Wolves Foundation will help you achieve your goal by offering you incentives to reach your target.
Neil Kelly said,"It is important that our young people realise the positive benefits of being active, but also the detriment effects smoking can have on their and health, their friends and family." The Woolston under 15s team are still recruiting for this season anyone interested should get down to Bennets Rc Wednesday at 6.30pm.
If you are interested in stopping smoking the NHS Team can help you by calling (01925) 843713 (01925) 843713 and quoting the Kick it into Touch campaign, its that easy.

Parent Workshops
Two new volunteer workshops aimed at Parents are being piloted in the North West.
The first - “Parents Volunteer Workshop” - promotes parents getting involved in volunteer roles at clubs, whist the second - “A Parents Guide To Respect” - is a workshop designed at getting parents up to date at what is expected of spectators who attend games at local clubs, professional clubs and internationals.
The workshops generate plenty of discussion and help clubs to appreciate how parents can support the club as volunteers.
Both workshops take only 20 minutes to be delivered and are available to all community clubs in the North West.
The Parent volunteer workshop includes information on;
* The typical volunteer
* Club Values
* Benefits of volunteering
* Club expectations
* Impact of volunteering
Each area highlights ways a Parent can become involved in a club and volunteer just 30 minutes a week to their club and the impact that this could have!
The Parents guide to respect workshop provides parents with information on how they should behave whilst watching a game on the sidelines. It explains about being positive and encouraging respect amongst spectators, players, parents and referees.
Warrington Service area are hosting a joint workshop on Monday 3rd June at 6 - 7pm at Warrington collegiate.
We are looking for 5 parents that are not currently involved from each club in Warrington to attend and hopefully go back to their club with a new role in mind.
